Evan Borthwick had never run a restaurant when he bought the old Highway 9 pizza parlor in 2005. Two years later the dough and marinara went one hundred percent organic, and the kitchen earned a Certified Green Restaurant badge it has carried ever since. Tucked into the redwoods of Felton, it is still the reason road-trippers pull off the mountain highway.
